What makes GeoBubble unique?
• Unique patented design of two bubbles joined together by a waistline centre section
• No sharp corners resulting in no thin or weak points in the design
• The material contains no stress due to the smooth interconnected curves
• The overall thickness of a GeoBubble is 50% more than a traditional bubble
• Increased resilience against UV and chemical attack
Why does GeoBubble have a large footprint?
GeoBubble has a much larger footprint than most traditional bubble materials to allow for expansion of air in the bubble shape. The stiff waistline section makes the bubble strong enough to hold expanding air and will not stretch and burst under pressure. The large footprint also acts as an insulator, retaining heat in the pool, plus helps the cover stick to the water so it cannot be blown off the pool.
What is a stabilisation package?
Ultra Violet (UV) rays are emitted by the sun and are partly absorbed by the Ozone layer. UV light is destructive not only to the human skin but also to many manmade materials including polyethylene and plastic products. Unless such materials are specially treated, they become faded and brittle if exposed to UV light and chemicals. So the bubble design alone will not stop premature failure of a swimming pool cover. In cooperation with suppliers and UK university partners over the last 12 years we have developed the best additive, stabiliser and anti-oxidant package available. This package dramatically increases the lifespan of the swimming pool cover material by helping to make it more resistant to UV light and chemical attack. In combination with the unique bubble design this radically increases the longevity of the product.

How was GeoBubble developed?
The unique bubble design has been developed over 5 years in collaboration with London Metropolitan University and the University of Brighton. This synergy between academic and industrial knowledge has enabled the design of the best swimming pool cover material available. Along with the bubble design research has also gone in to the use of the best additives, stabilisers and anti oxidant package, with the aim to provide the best performing and longest lasting swimming pool bubble cover material on offer.
“The new GeoBubble design has been engineered to give increased stiffness to the form and increased life for the product. This has been done after careful analysis of the shape, material and manufacturing process. The final bubble form is attractive and also has more uniform wall thickness and much less internal stress”
